Everything I’ve read about porcelain veneers says that it’s important that you keep up with brushing and flossing. I haven’t been able to floss since getting my veneers. Do you know what is going on?

Micah,
It’s hard to tell you exactly what is going on without examining them. But, I can tell you that you’re supposed to be able to floss smoothly everywhere on your porcelain veneers.
It’s possible the mistake is with the lab, but even then your dentist should have caught the problem.
You didn’t mention if your dentist is new to cosmetic procedures or not, but it sounds to me like he is.
This needs to be fixed or it can ruin your oral health. See our post Should I Be Able to Floss Between My Porcelain Veneers? for details. While its possible you could understand the technical aspects and relay that to your dentist. It’s probably better if you just show him the post itself.. Hopefully he’ll take responsibility and make this right. If not, let me know and I’ll advise further.
