I’ve got some porcelain veneers, but I’m unhappy with their color. I wasn’t really given time to look at them carefully before they were bonded on. Is there anything I can do?
Lisa W. from Little Rock
Lisa,
I’m sorry to tell you that once the veneers are bonded on the only way to change anything is to remove them and start the whole process over. That is why at Hope Restorative we have what is called a Beautiful Smile Guarantee. It is relatively easy to make changes to porcelain veneers before the bonding process. A true cosmetic dentist feels that the patient is the final judge of the beauty of the cosmetic work and will make as many changes as necessary before permanently bonding on the veneers.
