I have a full set of dentures, which I dropped yesterday. One of the teeth broke off, but is still whole. Is there a way to fix this on my own? Even the idea of having a new set of dentures made is too expensive.

Mellie Mae,
This isn’t the kind of thing that can be fixed with super glue or duct tape, though they work wonders for lots of things around your house.
Many dentures are made of a special material that are designed to stick to the base. Anything you add could damage things further. You also don’t want to risk it not fitting properly, which could lower your quality of chewing and cause severe irritation.
I recommend taking your dentures in to your dentist. If he can’t repair it himself, he can certainly send it into the lab. It would be much less expensive to repair a single tooth on the denture, than to have a misguided home repair that winds up with you having to replace the whole thing.
